Members of LURe‘s editorial board will receive practical training in the field of editing and publishing. Editors work throughout the year to prepare the journal’s annual publication. Everyone is required to attend one meeting during the fall semester and one during the spring semester to gain skills training and meet important deadlines for the journal, and should anticipate a varying workload of typically 2-3 hours per week.

Those who join the team will be added to the official student organization roster as per University of West Georgia requirement. There are no fees or dues. Applicants must be enrolled as graduate or undergraduate students at UWG.
Working on the journal is an extracurricular activity intended to provide opportunities for students to improve their skills and gain experience in publishing and editing.
